How do I set the APN for my eSIM?
APNSettingsAdvancedUpdated June 21, 2026
Quick answer
Most Movia eSIMs configure the APN automatically. If data still won't work, add the APN listed in your confirmation email under Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Network (iPhone) or Settings → SIMs → Access Point Names (Android).
APN (Access Point Name) tells your phone how to reach the carrier's data network. Modern phones set it automatically, but if you've checked roaming and still have no data, set it manually.
iPhone
- Settings → Cellular → select the Movia line → Cellular Data Network.
- Enter the APN exactly as shown in your email (leave username/password blank unless specified).
Android
- Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → select Movia → Access Point Names.
- Tap + to add a new APN, enter the value from your email, and save it as the active APN.
