My eSIM is installed but I have no internet. How do I fix it?
Most cases are solved in three checks. 1) Refresh: turn Airplane Mode on for one minute then off, and make sure Wi-Fi is off. 2) Turn ON the Movia eSIM line and Data Roaming (iPhone: Settings > Cellular; Android: Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs), and turn OFF your home SIM's data. 3) Enter the APN from your confirmation email under Cellular Data Network (iPhone) or Access Point Names (Android).
Do I need to turn on Data Roaming for my travel eSIM?
Yes. A travel eSIM connects to a local network as a roaming guest, so Data Roaming must be ON for the Movia line. Because the plan is prepaid, enabling roaming never creates extra charges.
How do I set up and activate my Movia eSIM?
1) Scan the QR code (iPhone: Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM > Use QR Code; Android: Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Add eSIM > Scan QR Code). 2) Label the line 'Movia' and set it as your mobile data line. 3) At your destination, turn Data Roaming ON for the Movia line and enter the APN if prompted. Your plan only starts on first connection at your destination — not at purchase or install.
I haven't received my QR code. What should I do?
The QR code is emailed instantly after purchase. Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders and search for 'Movia'. Confirm the email address on your order is correct. If it still hasn't arrived, contact support with your order number and we'll resend it immediately.
My eSIM still won't connect after the basic steps. What else can I try?
Restart your phone. On iPhone, delete old carrier profiles under Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. Reset network settings (iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings; Android: Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth) — your eSIM profile stays installed but you may need to re-enter the APN. Also confirm your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked.
